Department of Accounting And Tax Applications

The aim of Accounting and Tax Applications Program is to train the intermediate manpower required by the accounting and finance departments of accountants or consultancy offices and workplaces operating in the public or private sector, providing services in accounting and tax issues. The program aims to gain the ability to comprehend the basic information in the field of accounting, to understand the functions and importance of accounting, to follow the legislation related to the profession, to gain the ability to make accounting records, to analyze the financial structure and to take part in the decision-making process within the organization, and to use financial values.

OPPORTUNITIES OF DEPARTMENT

The purpose of the program is to train intermediate staff in the field of accounting for public and private sector enterprises. During their education, students gain basic accounting knowledge and skills, as well as the knowledge and skills of using technology. Students who complete the program are given the title of Professional Accounting Staff with an associate degree. Graduates can find jobs in accounting offices, accounting departments of businesses, banks, and can open accounting offices meeting the necessary conditions on their behalf. The students who complete this program are given the title of Professional Accounting Staff with an associate degree. The main purpose of the accounting program is to support students with theoretical knowledge as well as applications. The courses given in this two-year program are designed with content that includes sufficient information for students to work in the field of accounting. Graduates of the department can apply to Faculties informal education on condition that they pass the vertical transfer exam; They can transfer to Anadolu University Open Education Faculty without an examination.
